GROUNDWORK

AMOK! KIDS! Groundwork encompasses throws, take downs, control positions, locks and submissions. This forms the basis for the KIDS! to feel comfortable training with, and competing against practitioners of various grappling and throwing arts such as Judo, Brazilian Ju-Jitsu and Wrestling.

The KIDS! grappling program provides an environment for participants to grapple hard with minimal risk of injury by applying the “fight hard tap easy,” principal. Groundwork develops elements such as core body strength, breathing, endurance, technical skill and balance.
